Vintage 0.68ct I1 H Diamond Engagement Ring in 14kt White Gold, c.1940's

A Bit About The Piece
If you’re looking for an estate diamond engagement ring with personality, this is one worth checking out.  From the centerpiece diamond with its bold, eye-visible black crystal inclusion in the center and notably exceptional cut to the mismatched accent diamonds likely sourced from different family rings that have been soldered onto the main ring, one cannot help but wonder the history behind the likely 1940’s piece.  We estimate the center diamond to weigh approximately 0.68ct and the accent diamonds to weigh a combined total of half of a carat.
The ring is currently being sold “as-is.”  The prongs are worn, several accent diamonds are loose in the setting, and there is a crack forming in the bottom of the shank.  If you have an interest in this piece and would like it to be restored to its former glory, please feel free to contact us ahead of purchase; for an additional $280, we will completely recondition all of the prongs, reinforce the shank, and rhodium plate the ring.  It will come to you as though it were the day that it was created.
